    Jay Sweeney has been around sawdust since his school days. What started as after-school help for his uncle’s carpentry business turned into a lifelong passion for building, crafting, and fine-tuning the details that make a house feel like home.

    With over 15 years of experience in both commercial and residential carpentry, Jay found his true calling in high-end finish work. Whether it’s custom trim, built-ins, or that perfect final touch, he brings skill, precision, and a love for the craft to every project.

    Maura keeps the business side of Blue Jay Carpentry running as smoothly as Jay’s miters. With 15 years of experience in marketing and corporate project management, she brings strategy and structure to everything from scheduling to social media. A passionate DIY-er and design enthusiast, Maura is not only Jay’s wife — she’s also his most loyal (and demanding) client.
